Pearls of Life: Markets and Night Performers, the Streets of Cartagena, Colombia.
Sharing with you my readers the way I view Cartagena, Colombia: Cartagena markets, night performers and colorful streets.
The uniqueness and charm of the city of Cartagena, you can see from her seat on the banks of the Caribbean Sea. I love the beautiful part of the old city, especially the part that is surrounded by the ancient walls and across the Caribbean Sea.
There is a lot to explore in Cartagena. From its markets, fantastic streets, museums, and night performance in clubs, restaurants and on the streets. Cartagena is very colorful and the colors are all around it, from the houses, restaurants, the clothing, the graffiti and the walls.
Enjoy a nice evening in Cartagena by strolling at sunset on the walls of the old city. Thereafter you can witness the red sunset that surrounds the sky over Cartagena. The restaurants are offering aperitivo, a glass of wine, a beer, to enjoy the wonderful weather (in case it’s not raining) and to enjoy the view of the Caribbean Sea.
Later on, late evening time towards night, it is very enjoyable to see the night performers of dancers in the streets. Groups of professional musicians and dancers together in the center of the piazza performing to the audience. The dance and the music are authentic Colombian, cultural of Afro-native Colombians and Coastal natives Colombian.
At night time, Cartagena is alive and full of restaurants, night clubs, bars, coffee bars, and just the lights of the city parks. Cartagena is safe at night to go out. Many tourists enjoy fine dining and dancing at the livelihood streets of Cartagena.
The peak of my trip to Cartagena is enjoying yoga in the morning, strolling the streets in the morning and purifying myself in the Caribbean Sea. Only then, I have my breakfast. Enjoy all the colorful tastes and Caribbean music is the highlight of the visit to Cartagena.
