Pearls of Life: Hilla arriving to Colombia for wellness, resilience and yoga sunset
Today I am sharing with you, my dear readers, the enjoyment of having Hilla in Colombia accumulating experience, adventure for wellness, resilience and yoga sunsets.
Flying to Colombia from Europe is an easy flight as there are three major direct flights. Hilla decided to have the Christmas vacation with me, her mother, and her sister, Noy. Happiness of the moment seeing her coming across the airport upon arriving was the moment I will keep in my heart. Like the best song of life seeing her exploring what Colombia has to offer.
Hilla is all about wellness and trendy lifestyle. With her wisdom and international life experience she chose the Colombian locations for her 3 weeks trip as the most prominent for her practice yoga and meditation.
Yoga is an important practice not only as a lifestyle trend but as well as for mental and physical health. I have been practicing yoga for the last 25 years and Hilla started practicing with me when she was 10 years old. As the youngest Hot yoga practitioner she has developed the flexibility necessary to master her practice in her upcoming years.
Arriving in Medellin Colombia as the first spot for Hilla‘s practice. Medellin is known for her famous past as the capital of the cartel and the home of Pablo Escobar. Today Medellin is the center of innovation , development , universities , and yes also yoga practice . On the top roof of the Masaya hostel and in the early morning hours, I was able to practice with Hilla and Noy . The quiet scenery and the views were an additional input for the practice as a cherry on top of the ice cream.
The second location was on the Caribbean Colombian coast and the third location was on the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Colombia.
Experiencing yoga practice in perfect weather all the time during spring such as in the mountains was very good and contributes to wellness as a lifestyle trend.
Yoga practice individually as well as in group is highly recommended . Hilla was teaching us a class on the top of the mountain in Sierra Nevada twice a day for the 4 days that we stayed there . The morning practice with the meditation at the end of the practice is an adventure that I memorized . I love the feeling of freshness of the day to begin and I thank God for the opportunity to have my daughters guide me in that practice. I embrace the day to come with love, balance, compassion and grace.
The evening sunset practice is before closing the day which embraces the beauty of life and the beauty of our practice. The colorful sunset is a sensational viewing. With the red colors coming up the mountain I am concluding this blog.
