Pearls of Life: Discovering the Benefits of Preservation of Nature by the Indigenous Community in the Amazonas.
Traveling and exploring Colombia is parallel to exploring the preservation of nature. I love Colombia, I love the nature and I love the people.
The diversity of the groups living in Colombia is amazing. You can’t find one feature similar to another. In one family you can have members with blue eyes and white skin and olive skin with dark eyes. The mix of the natives with the locals from ancient years is noticeable on the people. The same diversity you can find among the different indigenous communities spread over Colombia, Peru and Brazil. The different tribes are among others named the Yagua, Ticuna, Cocama, and Yacuma tribes.
Exploring the diversity of the groups and the tribes is, in my eyes, like exploring the source of the water, as the water is the tool that God gave us for purifying the soul and the spirit. Learning from the indigenous communities to worship the presents that God gave us as human beings which is the land, the sun, and the breath. All that does not have financial cost. Appreciating and worshiping the creation of nature and the free sources of land, sun and water is the foundation for the ceremonies conducted by the indigenous communities.
Traveling in the Amazon, you are exposed to the Amazonas people , indigenous groups that are connecting their life to the river. The river is their bath, the river is their drinking water, the river is the water for the plants, the river gives life to the jungle, to the animals, and the river is where they can transport goods between those communities. In the morning, washing the body at the river is a blessing to a beautiful beginning of the day. I was able to experience this myself and participating with the group of people from the community.
A mindset that embraces modernity with appreciation to the preservation of ancient traditions is a focus to help those indigenous communities. The goal is to create a de-pollution project and recycling of waste in a remote indigenous community living on the banks of the river.
Discovering and understanding the importance of the de-pollution project of the Amazon river is an issue that is related to the progress of the western world with sustainability and equality of wellness lifestyle.
I have met with leaders of the communities and I admired their dedication for the preservation of life, nature and ancient wisdom of life. Meetings in a democratic way where elections and votes for projects in The Maloka temple are often done is the governing system in the indigenous communities in the Amazon.
I apply to my dear readers to be a part of my group and community of those who care how our life looks like and promote the sustainability, wellness, dedication and resilience of the generation to come.
As we can witness in the western world and especially in the USA in these days, where the fight is over democracy. We understand the importance of democratic system, respect and equality are the future for sustainability success.
