Pearls of Life: Democracy and Equality, Lessons from the USA.
Why do I support President Biden to a second-term in the November 2024 election?
Today, I am sharing with you my concern about the future of the USA. As a citizen, I care about my country and I would like the American collective population to benefit from prosperity and equality for the generations to come. Learn about democracy, it is the key to understand the difference between the two candidates for the presidential race in November 2024.
Democracy is “of the people, by the people and for the people”, as Abraham Lincoln said. Democracy can be thought of as power of the people, where the will of the people is governing and the system around the government is to ensure that the power of law is vested with the people and not in the hands of the individuals or of a cult. Democracy is a system of governance with checks-and-balances, where there is independence of the different branches of government, executive, judiciary and legislative, with the protection of human rights.
In the USA, we have a separation of power, as established by the Constitution. The USA as a democratic republic, builds on free election, vote by the people for the race of President. In addition, there are two-levels of governments, the federal and the states, and the local, as part of the state, which are elected by the citizens.
I pray and I hope that democracy is going to win in this election coming up in November 2024. For democracy to win, I am giving my vote and encouraging any citizens to vote for President Biden and to let the Democratic party lead the USA for the next 4 years to come.
Exploring the radical changes that the USA has adopted in all levels of government, since 2015, until today, is worrying me. The regression of human rights and the ignorance of the leaders for the disadvantage is noticeable. There is a difference between freedom of thought, freedom of speech, and due-process privilege as perceived in the eyes of the public and educated at school. The basis of democracy and equality as opposed to a cult-culture and revenge motives is the differentials of our civil rights.
I learned from my personal experience that the former president Trump, and his wife, Melania, are not fit to lead the USA as their ignorance and greed is a match as a couple, but not deserved to sit in the White House.
We, the American people, have to wake up and give our voice, to make sure that the next generation and our children will enjoy democracy with values of freedom, equality, and dignity to live life with checks and balances of different governmental branches where there is respect to the society and the governing of law. For all that, I therefore urge you all Americans to vote for democracy and give your vote to President Biden and his government.
